We went to Santa Cruz two weekends ago with Santiago's family. His sister was down from Utah. The weather turned out to be really nice. The water was really cold, but we decided to get Isaiah's feet wet. He didn't seem to mind too much. He did eat a little bit of sand (he has quick hands). The car ride home was horrible though. It took us almost three hours to get to San Jose from Santa Cruz, when it only should've taken 30 min. There was a huge accident so the freeway was closed. Unfortunately Isaiah was awake the whole time. He went poop when we were stuck on the inside lane not moving. Finally we were able to head back up and take a side route through the mountains and find a spot to change him. I was trying to keep him happy by feeding him, but the windy roads in the mountains made him car sick, and he threw up all over my new car. We were also almost out of gas (not to mention I had to go pee really bad)...and had no idea how much longer it would take to get out of the mountain. It was the best feeling when we entered Saratoga (a small city next to San Jose). We relaxed for a bit in San Jose, then headed home because I had to give a talk the next day. It was quite an adventure.
I cannot keep Isaiah out of these drawers!!! He loves to take out everything. Santiago is suppose to install some stoppers, but in the mean time I get my exercise from always pulling him away from things. He doesn't like being in his saucer anymore because he can't go anywhere. It seems like I can't get anything done these days!

I cant believe how big he is getting. And all along the way he gets more and more handsom.
He is so cute! I can't beleive how much he has grown and that he will be one in just a couple of months. We miss you guys, and can't wait to see you in a few weeks.
