Family Trip

This last Friday we headed up to Capitola near Santa Cruz. Since we were going to be in San Jose the whole weekend, we wanted to take advantage of the beach close by. We knew it was going to be a little chilly, but we had already packed up Isaiah's winter clothes. It was mid 60's when we got there. We only stayed for a couple hours. We had lunch, and a mixture of what I ate and the sea air made me feel really sick. Isaiah enjoyed playing in the sand with his dad while I layed on the blanket feeling like blah. That being said, it was still a much better trip then last years (look back to our post last April). Afterwards we headed to San Jose to meet up with all of Santiago's family to go swimming...it was much warmer in San Jose, but not warm enough in my opinion for swimming. By the end of the day Isaiah was exhausted and my stomach was feeling better. All of Santiago's family was together for his nephews ordaination to get the priesthood. It was a nice weekend, and hopefully we will go to the beach again this summer when it is a little but warmer.
