Santiago's Birthday (Isaiah was more excited than Santiago about the cake)I have two kids...wow! It has been easier than I expected...but at the same time it sure does have its difficulties. For the most part Xavier is a happy baby, and it doesn't take much to settle him down and fall asleep. Night time isn't too bad. On average he wakes up two times to eat and falls back asleep. Sometimes he stirs and fusses when he has a lot of gas. The hard part is when he cries before he eats. Its a race to change his diaper and get him latched on before Isaiah hears him. Isaiah has been waking up a few times each night crying...but luckily we put him back in his bed and he falls back asleep. He has been doing so good with potty training. Its been over a month now where he hasn't worn diapers at night time and he hasn't had any accidents. Twice he has woken us up to take him to the potty. It has definitely been a blessing to only have to buy diapers for one child. He is getting more jealous of the baby now. Especially when he is whining, and I have to take care of the baby. I try to spend as much time with Isaiah when the baby is sleeping. I had a lot of guilt before I had Xavier about how Isaiah's world would change. I'm trying as hard as possible to keep that from happening.
