Special Weekend

This past weekend we headed up to the Bay Area. We left Friday night and stayed in Oakland with Santiago's brother. That morning Santiago, David and their parents did a session at the Oakland Temple. I wanted to go also...but lets just say Isaiah wasn't in the best mood the whole weekend.


Saturday afternoon our niece Tatiana was baptized by Santiago's father. On Sunday, Santiago gave Tatiana her confirmation blessing. Santiago was also asked by his nephew Jonathan to ordain him a deacon in the priesthood. Needless to say, it was a very special weekend for him and his family.
We wish we could see them more often, but we try to make it out there as much as possible. It is alot of fun to hang out with them, and they show so much genuine love towards eachother. I feel very thankful and blessed that I married into such a warm and caring family.
