When I asked Isaiah what he wanted to be for Halloween this year his response was, "A yellow dinosaur." Well...being that I do not sew, and that I couldn't find a yellow dinosaur anywhere, I suggested that he be Batman and Xavier could be Robin. Of course once Isaiah saw the costumes, he wanted to be Robin instead. Despite trying to convice him otherwise for a few weeks, he stuck to Robin. Finally when we went to the store to try it on and buy it, he didn't want to be him anymore. At this point I realized, why leave it up to a three year old? I found the pirate costume and scarecrow and that was that. He didn't want to be a pirate, but we tried to make it sound cool. While we were putting on his costume for the trunk or treat at church, he said, "I don't want to be a pirate, I want to be Thomas!" So our three year old was one unhappy pirate for Halloween. Oh well...
The kids got way too much candy, and I have been eating all of it. Isaiah is still young enough to want to share with me, so I will enjoy it while it lasts.
