Bed head, she is notorious for this. And since she hates it when I do her hair she looks like this majority of the time, poor thing:
Sam is our princess, and she knows it. She loves playing in my makeup, taking care of her baby dolls, and performing songs for us. She'll ask, "mommy, Sammy sing song?" And then she'll make up a song about whatever is next to her. My favorite is when she sings, "Sammy Princess, Princess Sammy."
Even though she is very much a girl, her brothers have influenced her greatly. She thinks potty words are the funniest thing ever. She also tries to do whatever Xavier does ie:jumping off the sofas, climbing chain linked fences, riding the scooter. Since she can't say Xavier, she calls him Papi, which she has picked up from us. She also yells at the boys when she knows they aren't listening to us. She just might be the one in charge when they get older.
She is still on the paci, and takes about a 2 hour nap mid-day. She is in bed by 8, wakes up about 12am and sleeps with us from then until morning. We need to shake that, but I just haven't been motivated yet. She was fully potty-trained by 23 months, and has had no accidents at night time. She has only woken up twice to go potty. I count my lucky stars that all three have been so easy to potty train.
She is in the 20th percentile for her height, and 30th for weight. I always thought she was chunky, but maybe she has been thinning out.
For her birthday we had a My Little Pony theme. She knew her birthday was coming up, and was singing "Happy Birthday to Sammy" all of the time. She loved being the center of attention on her special day. For her birthday cake, I tried making marshmallow fondant. I was actually surprised that I was able to execute it. I think her cake turned out cute, and she loved it.
Cousins:
She had this expression the whole time she was opening gifts:
Such a diva already! Little girls are so fun.
