The Month of Love

Eva chunked up real fast.  At her 2 month check-up she was 14 1/2 lbs.  A few days after her well appointment she came down with a respiratory infection. When I took her into the Pedi-Urgent Care her oxygen levels were low and they had to put her on oxygen.  I was sent home with an aerochamber to help with her wheezing.  Pretty scary but she bounced back quick.

Eva's eyes have always been so dark.  People just assume that they are bown, but in the right lighting you can see that they are actually a dark bluish-green color.  I hope they stay that way.

I wanted to do something fun for the kid's Valentines this year, so I browsed through Pinterest and came up with these:

Santiago and I had debated back and forth about cutting Sam's hair.  I couldn't stand the long straggly curls in the back.  There were short tight curls underneath it and I wanted everything to be evened out.  He was scared her curls wouldn't stay.  I took the debate to Facebook, and majority agreed it needed to be cut.
Samantha was such a good girl getting her hair cut.  She surprises me every day with how mature she is.

The result was just what I expected.  Her curls stayed and she looked so cute.
Following tradition, Eva got her ears pierced at 2 months old.  She cried of course, but got over it real quick.  I tell ya, getting them pierced as babies is the way to go.
Despite many attempts to take a cute sister photo, Eva just never wants any part of Sam holding her.
