This past weekend I had the opportunity of taking Isaiah on his first camping trip. It was the annual Father & Son campout with Ashleys Dad's ward. We headed out Friday evening around 6 pm and returned Saturday at 10:30. Isaiah really enjoyed it. I have to admit I expected a busy night of me running/chasing him around, but it was not bad at all. There were plenty of kids there to entertain him and keep him from wondering off. It was nice being able to spend some one-on-one time with him with mom not around. He got dirty, ate with his hands, should I dare say went to bed without brushing his teeth! Ashley got a night off to relax and catch up on some sleep (she was up all night). All and all it was fun. This next weekend we will be doing a family campout with our ward, so it was nice to have a weekend with just us boys...ahem, I mean MEN!!
