Pioneer Day Celebration

This morning was our stake's Pioneer Day celebration. Our ward was in charge of cooking the food, and since Santiago is on the activities committee he was there at 6 am. Isaiah and I got there around 8 and it was already hot! They didn't start cooking the pancakes till after 8, and since Santiago was designated as the pancake flipper, I was running after Isaiah for about an hour. Luckily they had tables set up inside as well as outside...so we went inside to eat. Isaiah ran around the cultural hall falling on purpose (his favorite thing to do)...while everyone commented to me how much energy he has. (They have no idea!) After breakfast was done they had the primary children (nursery counts right?) walk around outside with pinwheels and bazookas while they played songs about pioneers. I was ready to go after that!

Practicing his bazooka skills

It was really hot but he kept walking around. What a trooper!
Luckily no bicycles ran him over.
