Pregnancy Update

I had an appointment today with my OB, and it was finally time to check my cervix. I didn't go in there with high expectations. I have been having braxton-hicks constantly it seems like, but I wasn't going to assume they have been doing the job. Santiago and I couldn't hide the smiles on our faces when the OB said I was dilated to a 2, and 50% effaced. He also said that he didn't think I would carry till next week. But, of course I could always still go past my due date. He told us to make an appt after my due date just in case...and I responded, "Why are you so pessimistic?" I am so happy somethings going on! Santiago has been saying for the last week he thinks I will deliver tomorrow. As many of you know, thats exactly what happened with Isaiah after the doctor checked me..but thats a long story. I can't even think about it without freaking out! Where has the time gone? What do I still need to do? There is no food in the fridge! Most of all, how is this baby going to affect Isaiah? Sleepless nights are almost here. We are excited to see our new bundle of joy, and your guess is as good as mine as when that will be! Keep your phones handy!
