Tonight was Santiago's work Christmas party. It is a fancy event where some ladies even wear formal gowns. They have a nice dinner, music, raffles and dancing. Before dinner they raffled off $100 bills to four people...and wouldn't you know it we were one of the lucky four! Right after that they had a game to see who won the centerpiece on their table, and guess who won! My man is a lucky guy. We had a delicious dinner of pork, chicken cordon bleu, and steak. After dinner they were doing more raffles but unfortunately we had to cut our night short. We hadn't given Xavier a bottle since a few days after he was born. We tried to have him take it before we left this evening but it was a no go. We were hoping that we would eat from it while we were gone but he had no interest. At Xavier's doctors appt his pediatrician actually stressed getting him use to the bottle so that Santiago and I could have couple time, and not plan our lives around 2-3 hr increments. Hopefully he will take it eventually...because once he's a biter I'm cutting him off. Even though we came home early it was nice to get dressed up and enjoy ourselves.

How cool that you won something! I have been bad about pumping and trying a bottle. I've pumped twice and only tried giving it to her once, but she just made a mess and I haven't tried since. The other morning when she slept through the night I was full and tried to pump again, only to find out my pump is broken. I'm sad because now I don't know how we'll go on dates or get to the temple unless we just give her formula, which I really don't want to buy. Good luck with the bottle.
