Pictured:Nursery...although green is one of the colors in the nursery decor, this green had to go! When it is finished I will post before and after shots.
Santiago covered in who knows what...

Isaiah was eager to help.

On the day we moved in, we had help in the morning moving in all of the furniture and boxes. There was still alot of random stuff left in the apartment, and we had to be out the next day. Early in the afternoon Santiago and I were exhausted, and Santiago was complaining about being in pain. I thought we was just sore from moving things in the morning and working on the house. I was sore also, and I believe my words to him were "Just suck it up, we still have a lot of things to bring over." Well...by that evening he could barely walk, and the next day also. I went with my parents on Sunday to get the remaining stuff, while Santiago rested. On Monday he was still in pain, had a fever and chills, and couldn't eat anything. . That whole week he got worse, until finally he saw a PCP on Fri., where it was discovered he had a really bad infection and was severly dehydrated. He was put on an anti-biotic and the doc said if he wasn't better by Sunday he would have to go to the ER. He did get better over time...but still hasn't recovered fully. It was a hard couple of weeks...with boxes everywhere and unfinished projects still remaining...but we had so many people come and offer service. We feel truly blessed that so many cared about us, and didn't hesitate to help out.
We are pretty much settled in now, but still have endless projects awaiting. But thats the joy of being homeowners right?
