Snow Trip

On Christmas Eve we took the boys up to Shaver Lake for their first time at the snow. By the time we reached Shaver Isaiah was crying that he wanted to go home. I think watching a movie in the car made him car sick. Once he started to play he felt better. Xavier didn't like the sled, and couldn't do much with the snow, so he just walked around.

The snow was very icy, so building a snowman was pretty hard.

The sun was out and it wasn't very cold. We stayed for about two hours and then headed back home. Thankfully Shaver is a quick drive. It was a fun thing to do on Christmas Eve, but unfortunately by the next day the boys came down with bad fevers. That led to a pretty misearable Christmas for them.

We love/hate relationship with snow in our house. For the past 4 winters we've lived in states where we get LOTS of it and got real tired of it. Now that we don't live in it anymore we LOVE to go visit and play in it. Shave Lake is the best!

How are your boys feeling? It seems like they were sick for a while. Hopefully that's long gone now.
