August has been a great month so far for our family. It started out with my little brother Devan coming home from a 2 year mission in Guatemala. He has really grown up! I can't believe how much he has changed. All three of my brothers have served missions, and it is always a surreal feeling when we go to the airport to welcome them home.

All of my family got together the following week to celebrate Devan's homecoming and have a family reunion up at Shaver Lake. We don't all get together very often because of the distance of where we all live. I am always excited for Isaiah and Xavier to spend time with their cousins, since they are so close in age to them. We went up the cabin on Thursday and spent our time relaxing and eating of course. On Friday we spent majority of the day at the lake. The kids loved playing in the sand.
Everyone had their turn on the wave runner (except me of course). It was Isaiah's first time to go on one, and he got scared when Santiago went fast.
Pictured is Enzo, Brady and Isaiah, all 4 years old.
My sister made matching shirts for us all to wear on Saturday for pictures. The kid's shirts had their number in birth order, and the adults had their names.
Taking pictures of ten kids is not easy, especially when four of them are 2 and under. We got some candid shots I guess.
Don't I have the cutest nieces?

The whole fam bam.
After taking pictures my sister had a scavenger hunt for the families. The kids really enjoyed it.
Santiago and Xavier relaxing on the hammock.
Not sure what game they are playing here, but atleast they are having fun!
We all headed back to the valley Saturday afternoon. On Sunday Devan gave his homecoming talk. After church we took more family pictures. Here is a pic of my immediate family:
In a few days Devan will be heading off to school at BYU, which means he was only home for two weeks. Now he has to really focus on school and life decisions. I'm sure he will succeed in whatever he does.
