Samantha and I were thrown a lovely baby shower
There was yummy desserts
good friends and family

thoughtful gifts, and unfortunately a good friend who fell and sprained her ankle.
I am very grateful for everyone that came and showered us with all their love! Samantha should be here in less than 8 weeks. Santiago is busy updating the nursery with a new door and baseboards. I am busy shopping! Within the last couple of weeks I have been feeling the pains of the pregnancy more and more. No sleep, constant heart burn, and those dang Braxton Hicks! The doc said not to worry about exercising since lately it's been painful. She moves around like crazy, all day long. Isaiah loves to see and feel her. I think he is getting over the fact that she isn't a boy, although he does tell me that the next one is going to be a boy. (If there is a next one). Xavier had no interest in feeling my belly. We talk about having a baby, and he says "Baby Samantha" randomly throughout the day, but I'm sure he has no clue. I think he will have a hard time adjusting to the change. I hope that I will be ready for her!

You look so cute! So does Jenn. I haven't seen any pictures of her lately, so I didn't know she cut her hair. It looks like they went all out for your shower, and how nice that your grandma was able to come down for it.
I'm bummed I couldn't be there, but look forward to a gift from us when we see you next week! Girls are so fun to shop for.
