Our ward had its campout a few weekends ago. We made the decision that it would be better just for Santiago and Isaiah to go. I love camping...just not with a toddler. We knew that if Xavier went we would be chasing him around the whole time. He also doesn't sleep through the night, and I don't think other families would be very happy about that. I almost changed my mind last minute, but I talked myself out of it. Instead Xavier and I headed up to my sister's house for a sleepover.
They said they had fun. Boys from Isaiah's primary class were there, so they were able to play. Isaiah did get woken up in the early morning by some young kids who decided to check out who was sleeping in the tent. Santiago wasn't too happy with them I guess. We hope to be able to go as a family before the baby comes.
