The night before Easter we made sugar cookies. Thanks to my sister-in-law Jessica, we have a great recipe for them that we always use. The kids love to help make the dough and then cut them out.
While they were baking and cooling we dyed Easter eggs...which is a tradition.
Of course the best part of making sugar cookies is decorating and eating them. Yum! I try to not make them to often since I end up eating majority of them when little kids (or husbands) aren't looking.
The kids woke up Sunday morning to find their Easter baskets full of candy and small gifts. I stress too much about having the perfect pictures of the kids..when this is what usually happens anyways:
Oh well..I guess as long as the princess looks good right?
After church we headed to my parent's house for dinner and the much anticipated egg hunt. We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon outside with my parents and my sister's family.
