I'm sure that every parent feels that their little ones grow up way too fast. Isaiah just turned four, and where did the time go? I'm hoping that this year will be a good year. Three was hard, way harder then the so called terrible twos. He will be starting preschool in September, and I'm excited for him. He is such a smart little boy. He can count to 40 and write all of his letters. He is always asking me to help him spell out words so that he can write them down. He has his own made up language, and although it can be frustrating when he responds in funny words, it fits his personality. He is a big goof ball...always acting silly; but he really does have the best smile.
In primary each kid brings in a bag of their three favorite things to show everyone when it's their birthday. Isaiah chose to take his Thomas Train, a race car, and a soccer ball.
On his birthday I asked what his favorite things are and here was his responses:
Best Friend: Jonas (from church)
Color: Blue
Thing to play with: His Trains
Primary Song: Sing Your Way Home
Food: Pizza, Hot Dogs and Mac'n'cheese
For his birthday we invited his friends over for a train themed party.
I baked the cakes and Santiago did the rest. He carved, frosted and decorated them. It came out really cute, and all the boys loved it.
Thinking of activities for the boys to do was not easy. We ended up playing Pin the Face on Thomas, Hot Thomas (hot potato), and they each got to paint their own train. I think they all had fun.

Cute cake! Good job Santiago! Cake decorating in his future? No? Also, one of these days when we go to Monterey, we have to go to that park, looks like fun.
Wow, looks like we really missed out! I'm impressed with all your efforts with the party considering your increasing lack of energy. Brady can't wait to play with Isaiah next week!
