A few weeks ago we had concrete laid down to extend our patio. The man we hired also agreed to level out our backyard and take out any stumps or stones we had. It was a great deal we couldn't pass up, especially since that meant Santiago wouldn't have to do it.

Our backyard has undergone a complete transformation. It looks so different from when we first moved in. Santiago now needs to put in new sprinklers, and when it gets cooler we will lay down grass. Right now since it is all dirt I don't like the kids to play out there, and thankfully the hot weather is a good deterrent. We have lots of ideas on how to landscape it, but can't seem to find the perfect layout.

We are so excited for the progress, and that soon our kids will have a nice backyard to play in.

That's so great! There's something about seeing that open empty area that means so many fun possibilities. Good luck making your decisions.
