Yes, it is our yearly post about our trip to Monterey. We went up last Friday and spent a few hours at the aquarium. Xavier went around and called everything, "Fishies". The boys enjoyed seeing everything, and we let them lead the way the whole time.

We always stop at the Denice the Menace park after the aquarium. Isaiah of course loves to play on the huge steam engine.

This slide doesn't look to nice to go down on...but they obviously didn't mind all the bumps. It is such an awesome park...definetely check it out if you ever go to Monterey!

Before I knew that we were going to Monterey, I had told Isaiah that we were going to the beach that Friday. We were planning on going to Santa Cruz, but instead switched our plans. Isaiah was upset when I told him we weren't going anymore, so we left Monterey and started to head up to Santa Cruz, when we saw a sign for a state beach. I thought that it would be too cold, but the weather was perfect for them to play on the sand. We had the whole beach to ourselves, except for the hundreds of dead stinky crabs along the shore line.
Here I am at 30 weeks. Currently I am 31 weeks...I will someday do a pregnancy post.
The boys love playing in the sand....and getting all dirty. Thankfully they have a dad that will do it with them. I prefer to stay nice and clean.

Santiago's sister Cathy was visiting with her family from Utah, so we headed to San Jose that night. The next day was spent watching Copa America (South American Soccer Tournament) and hanging out with the family. On Sunday we attended my father-in-laws ward and then headed back to the house to eat. Since Isaiah's birthday was going to be in two days, the family decided to celebrate it while we were there. He had no idea! When we brought out the cake, he kept asking, "Who's birthday is it?" And then when we set it infront of him he said, "It's not my birthday today." He got shy, but it was fun surprising him with cake and gifts. I'm glad that Santiago's family was able to be a part of his birthday since they live a few hours away.
It was nice to be able to do something fun with the boys before the baby comes. We have one more vacation scheduled in a few weeks...and then hopefully the long car rides are done.
