Isaiah has a love for art. Everyday he asks for paper so that he can draw something new. I am constantly having to pick up his artwork around the house. He remembers everything he draws, and because of that I have to be careful about what I throw away. Sadly, because I cannot stand clutter and have not yet organized a means by which to store his work, many things have been tossed. I am now trying to save a good amount of his stuff and putting a date on it. He also loves to write his letters and always is trying to spell something. Since moms are always proud of their kids, here are some pieces from his portfolio:
"Isaiah Riding a Bike"
"Polar Express"
"Isaiah Riding a Bike"
"Santa Driving Next to a Rocket Ship"
"Getting a New Water Heater"
(We had a new water heater put in. Isaiah watched them install it, and then came inside to draw this picture.
"Ant on a Skateboard"

Last week on Caillou, the kids were making valentines. Isaiah asked if we could make some. I showed him the easy way of folding a paper to make a heart. Today on his own he got paper, folded it in half, drew and cut out these hearts. Pretty good for a four year old.
I think he gets his talent from his dad.

I LOVE it! Drake came home the other day saying "Isaiah is a really good drawerer and writer." Now he wants to practice, so thanks! My friend takes pictures of her kids with the art when she is ready to throw them out. Then you can use your newly found scrapbook skills and make an album! ;-)
